Adding a language to your Google Keyboard is very easy. By default, English(US) is selected, But you can easily change it in settings.
Sometimes, users want to type in their regional or national language. Thankfully, we have GBoard. Google Keyboard is fully equipped with most languages to type on. Most of the devices come pre-installed with Google Keyboard or GBoard these days, but if you don’t have one, download gBoard from Play Store.
How to add local language to GBoard?
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll down to ‘Languages and Input‘.
- Select Virtual Keyboard.
- Select Gboard > Languages.
Now you’ll see a long list of available languages. Enable the ones you frequently use. It’ll create a separate selectable keyboard for each language you enable. You can choose another keyboard while typing, Just swipe down the notification bar and click on Change Keyboard.
